Undervisning

To be eligible for the course, applicants must be PhD students in pharmacoepidemiology, clinical pharmacology, public health, social and clinical pharmacy, pharmacovigilance, Pharmacoeconomics, global health, or epidemiology at the time of application. There are no geographical restrictions, and no prerequisite courses are required for application.
Acceptance notifications will be sent via email one month after the application deadline. Due to the limited number of seats available, applicants will be prioritized based on the date of their application, on a first-come, first-served basis.
The course will be conducted in English. Participants should submit a half-page A4 biography, along with a description of the project they plan to work on during the courses (Max 2 A4 pages). This should be submitted at least one week before the course start date. On the final day, the students are required to present either a portion or the entirety of their project description, allowing for an evaluation based on what they have learned throughout the course. If the students do not yet have a study plan, they may create a project plan based on their interests and use it for the presentation.
The course is a two-week, full-time program that includes lectures, small group discussions, presentations, and group activities. Attendance and active participation in all sessions and group activities are mandatory to pass the course.
The departments of the participants will be charged a fee of 2,000 SEK if they are admitted but fail to participate without canceling at least one week before the course begins.

Examination

To pass the course, the students are expected to actively participate in all scheduled lectures, group discussions, and presentations. On the final day, they must present their project to all participants and evaluate it based on the course's learning objectives. There will be time for the audience to ask questions and discuss the project with the presenter. Unexcused absences will fail the course.
