Description
A course in Swedish legislation & Ethics,
animal welfare and 3R
A CPD training for people who have an older, earlier than January 1, 2013, training in laboratory animal science, a so-called. FELASA C.
Learning outcomes
The overall ILO of this course is that the participant will:
• interpret and practice the Swedish legal requirements regarding the use of laboratory animals (EU Module 1)
• know and apply the principles of the 3R's, animal welfare and ethical argumentation concerning research animals (EU Module 2)

Examination
An approved theoretical course requires:
i) passing results on all online tests
ii) passed individual written examination
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the disability coordinator of the university.
